In addition to our usual in-person workshops and intensive courses, we will soon announce our
next available online taiko sessions for winter-spring 2026. These sessions include weekly courses to learn original taiko compositions written by TOKARA, and
short courses for learning and improving form and movement.All courses are taught live via Zoom sessions. In addition, all sessions are recorded and can be accessed between one week up to one month afterwards (depending on the length of the course) via private password-protected website. This way, you can access any part of the course even if you are unable to join live sessions or simply wish to review any details at your own pace. For each course, you will need: ・Zoom account (100% free and accessible through PC, smartphone, tablet) ・Taiko Bachi (or anything available to use as drumsticks) ・Drum (or anything which you can play...drumpad, cushion, box, phonebook, etc. 1. Individual Sessions are between 60-90 minutes depending on the course. 2. Each session for learning new compositions also include written notation.
